These Terms govern your access to and use of DeerHunt.ai (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What the Service is
DeerHunt.ai is a map-first decision-support tool that combines deterministic environmental computations (wind, scent, thermals, solunar, terrain, movement scoring) with an AI strategist that synthesizes suggested hunting strategy. It is an informational aid only.
2. Not legal, safety, or regulatory advice
The Service does not determine what is legal where you hunt. Hunting seasons, legal shooting hours, weapon restrictions, licensing, property access, and all other regulations are your responsibility. Always confirm current regulations with your state or provincial wildlife agency and obtain landowner permission. Suggested setups, access routes, and timing are estimates — you are responsible for hunting safely and lawfully.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract and to hunt lawfully in your jurisdiction.
4. Subscriptions and billing
- Paid plans (Pro, Camp) are billed in advance, monthly or annually, via Stripe.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel anytime from your account.
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; cancelling stops future charges and your plan remains active through the paid period.
- We may change prices with notice; changes apply to the next billing cycle.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the Service: no unlawful use, scraping or overloading our systems, reverse engineering, reselling access, or using outputs to facilitate illegal hunting, trespass, or harm to people or wildlife.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the locations, logs, photos, and notes you create. You grant us a limited license to store and process them to operate the Service. You can export or delete your data at any time from your account.
7. Third-party data
The Service incorporates third-party data (e.g. weather, elevation, and map tiles). That data is provided “as is” and we don’t guarantee its accuracy, availability, or fitness for any purpose.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY HUNTING OUTCOME, INJURY, OR LEGAL VIOLATION ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
